TECHNICAL DESIGN

All orders for clinical trial packaging are entrusted to a Project Manager who is responsible for designing the packaging to be made, and to start supplies of packaging materials. The project manager also provides expertise in organising the packaging project according to a precise albeit flexible schedule.

Responsiveness :
• Detailed terms and conditions returned within one to five days
• Packaging per campaign or by shift-work teams.

MASKING

In the context of double blind clinical trial packaging, LC² can carry out the masking of your products in capsule form. This operation consists in making two outwardly different products exactly identical by enclosing them in capsules. This technique also makes it possible to prepare placebo units without requiring a development stage. Masking is carried out by specially trained two-person teams. Perfect mastery of procedures and counting and control operations by a third party ensure the presence of a unit to be masked in each capsule.

BLISTER PACKS

LC² has many tools enabling blister packing of all kinds to be carried out rapidly in most commercial forms. Blister packs are designed to present a large labelling surface and are manufactured in strict conditions so as not to cause a lifting of the double blind test. They may also be pre-cut out and placed in blister cards. These forms of outer packaging facilitate complex administration sequences and ensure clear presentation of the dosing schedule, thereby increasing the patient’s trust in the treatment and making it easier to follow..

LABELLING

LC² designs and manufactures labels and blind test slips in French and in foreign languages. Printing, in black and white or in colour, may include logos and bar codes. Our label suppliers can provide specific background colours and gums suitable for long term storage in all conditions, or ones enabling labels to be unstuck easily for inclusion in investigation documents.

TRACEABILITY

All operations carried out on products are recorded in an attached batch dossier. This document is linked to the rest of our actively managed documents by our Quality Assurance department (equipment life and installation booklet, for instance).
