LC² has the means of storing your products in controlled temperature and safety conditions, and the skills to transport your pharmaceutical units to destinations in France, Europe and overseas. As an importer, LC² provides a full range of services from import up to the destruction of units. |

LC², in collaboration with the various contacts, including AFSSaPS (French health product safety agency, principal, exporter), draws up the specific documents concerning the logistics of the clinical trial (import permits, permits for psychoactive substances, and/or narcotics), then defines and implements the particular logistical chains to be provided. |
LC² checks compliance of the upstream transport chain then carries out all controls aimed at guaranteeing the pharmaceutical units received. These data are entered in the receipt of deliveries dossier, which is the main means of ensuring traceability within the company. |
|
LC² has large storage facilities in controlled temperature environments (< - 15ºC / + 2ºC to + 8ºC / + 15ºC to 25ºC). Items can be stored for periods of less than one day or up to several years, and will be subject to regular reports. Our storage management applies not only to health products included in the various clinical trials, but also to material and documents related to the investigation site. |
LC² can process dispatch orders in less than six hours and up to 48 hours (according to the type of clinical trial), and can also manage automatic restocking from investigation centres on behalf of the principal. Each parcel is packed according to written instructions that include the particular stipulations for each trial (additional material, documents, or use of a particular carrier). |

Together with its supplier, LC² has developed a range of approved isothermal packaging for pharmaceutical use. This initiative has led to the successful development of: - thermo-regulated devices that take account of fluctuations between summer and winter temperatures of the logistics chains (cf. LC² summer cycle / Kalibox ), the thermal efficiency of which takes account of the risk of heat waves. - Parcel preparation methods that protect products from the risk of freezing. |
LC² ensures the entire monitoring of each parcel sent until receipt of delivery for deliveries in France, Europe or overseas. In addition to managing possible transport problems on your behalf, LC² ensures the return of documents duly completed by the investigating centre and accepts to record its own operations on IVRS type systems. |
|
LC² can not only receive returned parcels but also organise (on behalf of the principal) the removal of parcels to investigation centres. Each returned unit is recorded, with or without accounting upon receipt. Returns are stored in particular, uncontrolled temperature areas. |
LC² undertakes to store returned units for unlimited periods and can destroy them upon written request from the principal. A certificate registering the trial concerned is issued upon destruction. |

LC² is used to combining and coordinating the very varied activities involved in the logistics chain. We are thus able to respond according to the dynamics of each clinical trial (e.g. nature of the substance tested, temperature requirements, adjusted deadlines). As a manufacturer, we are authorised to re-label products that have had their sell-by dates extended during storage on our premises. |
